Thank you to the many people and communities across the country who took part in AFSC's nationwide week of action Loves Knows No Borders: A moral call for migrant justice!

On Dec. 10, 2018, more than 400 clergy and people of faith took part in a powerful nonviolent direct action at the border in San Diego – with dozens facing arrest. Many more took part in over 70 marches, vigils, and other solidarity events in communities from Juneau, Alaska to Miami, Florida.

Together, we showed solidarity with the migrant caravans and all who seek refuge in the U.S.  And we sent a strong message calling on the U.S. to respect the human right to migrate, end the militarization of border communities, and end the detention and deportation of immigrants.

Watch a video of our Dec. 10 nonviolent direct action below. You can also see coverage in The Nation, NBC News, Associated Press, and Yes! Magazine
