***Sigue en español*** This vigil is part of Love Knows No Borders, a week of action standing in solidarity with the migrant caravan and all who seek refuge in the U.S. Araceli Velasquez, a leader in sanctuary fighting for her life and her family, invites the community to stand with her as an asylum seeker and call on the US to offer peace and safety to those seeking refuge. Clergy from Temple Micah and Park Hill United Methodist Church will lead the vigil alongside Araceli. Together, we are calling on the U.S. to end the detention and deportation of immigrants, respect the human right to migrate, and end the militarization of the border. ********************************************* Esta vigilia es parte de ‘El Amor no Conoce Fronteras’, una semana de acción solidaria con la caravana de migrantes y todos los que buscan refugio en los Estados Unidos.
