Rally for Migrants! A Moral Call for Justice

Friday, December 14, 5:30pm to 7:00pm
Hosted by Irvine United Congregational Church
Corner of Alton and Culver
Irvine, CA 92604
We will join communities across the country as we stand in solidarity with the migrant caravan and all who seek refuge in the U.S. Together, we are calling on our government to respect the right to migrate, end the militarization of border communities and stop the detention and deportation of immigrants. Our event will be part of a national week of action for immigrants, beginning on Dec. 10, International Human Rights Day, and ending on Dec. 18, International Migrants' Day. We will gather on the corner of Alton and Culver and walk around the intersection 7 times in our own version of a Jericho Walk. Please bring positive signs and candles or lights.
Directions:
We will gather on the grassy northeast corner of Alton and Culver in Irvine, CA, 92604. There is ample parking at the shopping center across the street and room to gather on all four corners.
